Anytime you attend a big exhibition you are guaranteed to waste some time trying to find a person or a company you need to get in touch with. It's great if your company has set up a booth. But what if it hasn't?
Squawk team is excited to take part in one the largest market research events in Europe, Research and Results.
The IIeX (Insight Innovation Exchange) North America conference held this past June in Atlanta was described by its organizers as "a place where people come to find out what's new in the realm of insights; to be challenged and inspired while finding practical solutions, and meet future business partners," Squawk Surveys was there, too.
Until now the only iBeacons available have been using Apples specifications. All that has changed with the announcement from Google of the Eddystone beacon open source format. Google is making this an open source project to make it accessible to everyone. They didn't announce any hardware, this is a set of specifications for a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device that can be used by any device. The device just has to support BLE. Google are not charging for this either, a number of manufacturers of iBeacons have signed up so we can expect Eddystone devices soon.
The MRMW (Marketing Research in a Mobile World) North America conference held last May in NYC was billed by its organizers as: The most prestigious market research event of the year that connects the very best from the insight, marketing research and high-tech industries.
Building on the continued success of the only global conference series focusing on mobile, innovation and high-tech marketing research, MRMW featured world-class speakers, cutting edge discussions and a review of the latest tools and technologies available.
